DEPA or The Digital Economy Promotion Agency recently organized a seminar at in Songkhla City which was led by Mr. Pakorn Preechawutidech, Branch Manager, Southern Region and joined by The Local Chamber Of Commerce and as well as leading local Business and Government Leaders. The seminar was held to discuss strategies as to how to make Songkhla A Smart City and also the types of support that DEPA provides.
The topics covered included plans for tourists areas like Sadao and Hat Yai to have more Intelligent CCTV cameras in place , to develop more cashless venues using latest fintech technology and also for more government agencies sharing databases effectively and the development of more online platforms to make the lives of locals more easy and convenient.
